What is office outfitting?

Office out fitting can take many shapes and forms from small redecorating projects to much larger refurbishment plans. In general, office fit out services are conducted by skilled professionals like the Giant Leap team and may be as big or as small as the client needs it to be. A successful fit out will most likely entail the demolishing of an existing office space in terms of stripping the space down to its shell and redesigning it as new.

At Giant Leap, we take a phased approach to our process for outfitting offices. It starts with redesigning what the new office will look and feel like and ends with a final product that makes everyone from the CEO to the receptionist feel valued and joyful.

Phase 1: Planning

As with all good office fit-out companies, our first step in developing the best blueprint for an office design is the consultation process. We meet with our client to take a deep dive into what it is they want to achieve from their office refurb. Do they want a more contemporary and modern office space? Do they want to create a space with enhanced technologies and a more efficient work flow? Do they want to make their new offices environmentally-friendlier and more sustainable then they were before? Phase 2: Structural Work

Once the planning has been done and the final design agreed on, work can begin. At Giant Leap, we enlist the help of a professional building and installation team that are highly skilled at cleaning an office space down to its core, exposing all of its beautiful possibilities. Should work like building and plastering need to be done, our team will undertake it during this phase.

Phase 3: Interior Design

Once the structural work is complete, decorating the space is the next phase. Our interior design specialists will plan, during this phase, to bring the design dream into glorious reality through elements like paint, furniture, lighting, and décor. All these elements will integrate together into a final product which the client can call their new base.

Phase 4: The Reveal

The moment everyone has been waiting for; the reveal. This kind of project can take a few months to complete and will have included many hours of dedication and determination by both the Giant Leap team and the client. We absolutely love the reveal, because it allows us to showcase the final product of our specialised skills and, more importantly, we get to see the absolute excitement and elation on our client’s face.
