Volkswagen wanted the interior solution of the building to reflect the modern architecture outside. At the same time, the marketing teams of both Audi and Volkswagen are housed in the same space, and Giant Leap’s design needed to facilitate these two affiliated, but separate brands. We also needed to create an exhibition space that displays the company’s corporate social investment projects. Giant Leap took advantage of the triple volume entrance and applied a current trend that has taken the interiors world by storm – a majestic vertical garden. Pioneering trough lighting created the required ambiance, while slanted roofs created volume. A truly innovative space that embraces some of the interior industry’s most cutting-edge design principles.
